Mona Rice, Easilink volunteer driver and Claire Russell, Easilink Chief Executive were delighted to be invited to attend a special volunteer recognition event today, organised by North West Volunteer Centre and hosted by Graham Warke, Mayor of Derry City & Strabane District in the Guildhall.
Mona has been volunteering for over 20 years and goes above and beyond to help people in the local community in her role as volunteer car driver.
Mona was awarded a 200-hour Gold EPIC Award certificate at this special event, along with other volunteers throughout the district. It is to acknowledge, say thanks and showcase the dedication and time Mona voluntarily gives.
